2. What information will Marross collect about me?

When you contact us regarding one of our services, the request forms we ask you to complete include some personal information about you. This can consist of information such as your name as the contact point for an organisation, your email address and the organisation's address. Different web pages may ask for different personal information.

By entering your details in the fields requested, you enable Marross to provide you with the services you select.

When you email us for further information, you will be providing us with your email address and any other information you include in the message.

By entering your details in your email, you enable Marross to respond to your enquiry.

Our website provider uses cookies (see section 13 below for details) to collect standard internet log information, such as IP addresses, to help analyse how visitors use the site and to compile statistical reports on website activity for Marross. This information is not used to develop a personal profile of you.

All our website financial transactions are handled through our payment services provider. We will share information with them only to the extent necessary for the purposes of processing payments you make via our website. When payment is taken, no details are held in session or cookies. Card details are sent directly to the bank clearing process via a secure link and only responses are recorded.

Marross will not (and will not allow its website provider) to use the information and/or any statistical analytics tool to track or to collect any personally identifiable information of visitors to our site. We will not associate any data gathered from this site with any personally identifying information from any source.

3. How will Marross use the information they collect about me?

Marross will use your personal information to contact you about a submission you have made through the website and to enable Marross to respond to your enquiry.

Marross will use your personal information to provide the service you have requested.

IP addresses are used to identify the location of users, the number of visits from different countries and also to block disruptive use.

Where Marross proposes using your personal information for any other uses we will ensure that we notify you first. You will also be given the opportunity to withhold or withdraw your consent for your use other than as listed above.

If you are aged 16 or under, please get your parent/guardian's permission beforehand whenever you provide personal information through the Marross website. Users without this consent are not allowed to provide us with personal information.

We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant service.

The Data Protection Act gives you the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to have any inaccuracies corrected. If you would like a copy, please send a letter requesting this information together with a cheque for £10 payable to Marross and 2 pieces of approved identification. We will use reasonable efforts to the extent required by law to supply, correct or delete personal information held about you on our files.

We will take all reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information.
